Brian S. Cope, MD

Dr. Brian S. Cope always wanted to become a physician and specializes in urology because it "offers the best of both surgery and medicine." His special interest is in minimally invasive treatment. He works with each patient ensuring he or she is comfortable and understands his or her condition.

Dr. Cope received his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1991. He completed his internship in General Surgery followed by a residency in Urology at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia.

He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. Member of the American Urological Association, Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, North Carolina Urological Association, American Medical Society, North Carolina Medical Society, and the Alamance-Caswell Medical Society.

Dr. Cope enjoys exploring and traveling to other countries, learning about other cultures, reading, cooking, and working on special projects.

He has served the Burlington and surrounding communities since 1996 and opened the doors of Imprimis Urology in 2006.
